Bike tour for people who are enthusiastic about sports. It leads directly through the Oberwölzer main place, over the Salchau to the Lachtal. All roads are asphalted and there is a little traffic, thus perfectly suitbable for cyclist.

Since it is almost continuously uphill, sports enthusiasts will also come on their costs. Once you have arrived in Lachtal, you will find several huts to recharge your batteries. The skiing aresa Lachtal is a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts in summer.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Here turn right in the direction of Murau. In Niederwölz turn right towards Oberwölz.

Coming from Murau via Teufenbach to Niederwölz, turn left towards Oberwölz.

Coming from Tamsweg, drive via Ranten, to St. Peter am Kammersberg and via Pöllau am Greim to Oberwölz.

Starting point is the Infopint Oberwölz (Info Pavillion) youth of the town center, continue across the main square through the Schöttltor. Continue to the right, at the intersection Salchau direction Salchau/Lachtal. Always along the municipal road in the direction of Salchau. After the apartment house "Zechner" at Hochegg turn left and continue along the municipal road until you reach Lachtal.

For extremes, after the bike tour into the Lachtal, you can start a hike on the Schießeck or the Lachtaler Zinken.

You can get to Scheifling and Niederwölz by trains of the ÖBB and the Steiermärkische Landesbahn. From Niederwölz to Oberwölz, you can get by the public bus.
