Experiment with the wide range of activities on Europe's first bioonics island at the foot of the "Graggeschlucht"  and immerse yourself in the impressive "Kaskadenwasserfall" at the end of the gorge.

The tour is also considered a top tip of the region around the mountain personality "Grebenzen" and symbolizes one of the 19 leading offers on the subjece of hiking in the Murau adventure area.

The tour is suitable for young and old - a refreshing hike with opportunities to cool off in the creek bed. Since most of the hike is through the forest, this tour is a tip for hot temperatures.

Arrival from Germany

From Munich via the A8 in the direction of Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A10 Tauern freeway to St. Michael im Lunau. Take the B96 to Tamsweg, then continue on the B95 to Predlitz. The 97 leads via Stadl an der Mur to Murau. There in the traffic circle direction St. Lambrecht to the Murau train station and further direction St. Lambrecht. Via Laßnitz near Murau you reach St. Lambrecht, which is already in the nature park. There continue in the direction of Mariahof and Neumarkt. In Mariahof turn right towards Neumarkt. Continue to St. Marein, there turn right immediately after the pedestrian traffic light. Then straight on the Mühldorf.

 

Arrival from Oberösterreich/Hungary

At the freeway junction St. Michael bei Leoben take the S36 in the direction of Klagenfurt. Drive past Knittelfeld and Judenburg to Scheifling. In Scheifling continue in the direction of Klagenfurt to Neumarkt, via Unzmarkt and Perchau am Sattel you reach Neumarkt. Drive through Neumarkt, then turn right at the pedestrian lights in St. Marein.  Then straight on to Mühldorf.

 

Arrival from Italy

Via Klagenfurt on the B83 past St. Veit an der Glan, Treibach and Friesach. In Friesach continue in the direction of Vienna, via Dürnstein and Wildbad Einöd to St. Marein. Turn left just before the pedestrian lights. Then straight on to Mühldorf.

In Mühldorf near St. Marein bei Neumarkt we dive into the world of bionics. Along a romantic torrent we walk with a slight incline inreasingly through the forest through the "Graggerschlucht" and past the "Kaskadenwasserfall". After the waterfall, the gorge opens up and the trails leads past meadows, fields an farms until we can see the grass lupping ponds in the Zeutschach after the last piece of forest.
