The view from the Großofen over the Lipizzaner homeland, the western Styrian mountains and the entire Graz adventure region makes up for the elevation gain and the adventurous climb through the rock chimney.

Meeting point: 9:15 a.m., Köflach train station, onward journey planned with VOmobil or shared taxi

Path length: 12.5 km | Ascent: 530 m | Walking time approx. 5 hours

The total duration of the hike is approximately until 4:30 p.m., followed by a planned stop.

Difficulty level: Forest and forest paths, partly steep. Fitness required for 5 hours of walking and a climb of over 500 meters.

Equipment: Good footwear (mountain boots), hiking clothing, rain protection, hiking poles recommended, backpack, drink, snack/breakfast, no refreshment stops during the hike

The guided hike is carried out by the Graz Region Tourism Association and the hiking guides. Subject to short-term changes. Participation is at your own risk. Please note that dogs are not permitted.
