openVOICES are eleven voices, united in friendly harmony. Founded in 2023, the ensemble combines over 20 years of musical experience and a close friendship, grown through making music together in choirs and ensembles at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. The group stands for tasteful, exciting arrangements, precise interplay, and elegant vocal sound.
In the program: A cappella interpretations of famous songs by pop icons such as the Beatles, Beach Boys, Sting, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, and many more. All titles are performed in refined arrangements – partly original compositions, partly from the repertoire of renowned vocal groups like The Real Group or Pentatonix. The mix of classic a cappella tradition and modern influences creates special sound moments.
