This easy cycle tour starts at the cycle junction 46 sports centre Zeltweg and leads in the direction of Spielberg through beautiful countryside through Lind, Weyern, Apfelberg and back to Zeltweg after Großlobming.
This easy cycle tour, which is also suitable for families, starts at cycle junction 46 at the Zeltweg sports centre and leads towards Knittelfeld along the cycle path to Spielberg Castle in the Murtal Region. There we cross the busy main road to Lind at the zebra crossing. Shortly before the church, we turn left onto a narrow country road at cycle junction 52 to Weyern, where we have the option of shortening the tour at junction 62 to Großlobming or continuing straight on to Knittelfeld and turning right after the Uitz mill to Apfelberg. At the fire station we cross the road again and cycle right along the cycle path back to Großlobming and via Möbersdorf back to Zeltweg. In Großlobming we have the opportunity to visit the fantastic herb competence centre.

More information

Partly cycle paths and otherwise narrow asphalted country roads-Crossing of two busy roads on safety path possible!
On this tour we cross busy roads twice (please use the zebra crossing), special care is required!

Walkers and hikers always have priority. Friendly and considerate behaviour towards pedestrians is a prerequisite. When meeting pedestrians, it is important to make yourself noticed by ringing the bell and passing slowly. Mountain bikes are not permitted on footpaths and hiking trails.

Our nature and landscape is as good as unspoilt and beautiful. To keep it that way, we ask holidaymakers to avoid litter and unnecessary noise. In order not to disturb the animals, the mountain bike trails should only be used during the day:

from 1 June to 15 September from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm

from 16 September to 31 October from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Ride only on authorised, marked trails and never off the beaten track. The road traffic regulations must be observed on the forest roads!

Just as when driving a car, you should always ride on sight when mountain biking. On forest roads, you should be aware of wood on the carriageway and motor vehicles.

If you come across grazing cattle on the way, reduce your speed to walking pace to avoid the animals reacting incorrectly. Please always close pasture gates!

Proper self-assessment is essential for any sport! Never overtax yourself in terms of technique and fitness. This will also help you to avoid accidents.
