Schmidt-House, Grazer Straße 12
One of the most beautiful Art Nouveau houses in the entire Mürz Valley, a gem with a rich Art Nouveau facade. The building was erected in 1907 on the banks of the Mürz River and renovated in 1987. In the 18th century, a "leather dresser" was located in the house at No. 12 at Grazer Strasse. In 1907 the current building was erected on the foundations of an older house as a commercial building with large windows in a rural Baroque Art Nouveau style based on plans by Viktor Forabosco. The richly decorated facade with two round cores on the sides shows a large relief with a blacksmith in the middle. The east side of the house is bounded by a wrought iron grid.
