In Hall - very close to Austria's youngest national park - cross-country skiing is a big deal. But how could it be otherwise when there is a real cross-country skiing center with a seal of quality?

At the foot of the Hall walls and with a view of the Gesäuse mountains, you can ski until your calves burn. At the parking lot, the sight of the alpine scenery makes your heart swell the first time. The second time you feel something in your chest when what the webcam promised comes true: perfectly groomed trails and snow as far as the eye can see.

The cross-country skiing center is known for several things: The beautiful valley and sunny location, snow guarantee and the 33.5 kilometer long cross-country skiing network over which the Styrian cross-country skiing seal of approval is emblazoned. Of course, in Hall and in the wide valley floor of Admont there are also easy and medium difficulty trails and therefore no issue if you want to take it a little more leisurely than on the National Park trail. Now only one thing remains to be said: to get the body and the mind going in a glittering winter world is possible - only you are missing.

In Hall near Admont there is a real cross-country skiing center. The Styrian Cross-Country Skiing Seal of Approval is emblazoned over this network of trails for skaters and masters of classic cross-country skiing and certifies that high standards of length, signage, safety, etc. are met. In total, there are 33.5 km of snow-sure cross-country skiing fun at all levels of difficulty. The whole thing at an altitude of 640 to 780m and with a great view of the Haller Mauern and the Gesäuseberge.

They are rustic and outspoken, the Gesäuse inns. And "regional" is not a code word in the Gesäuse, but a duty. In their backpacks they have a selection of Styrian classics to delight the palate. The traditional preparation awakens a thousand and one memories and, on balance, simply makes you blissful.

And restful sleep is possible in the Gesäuse anyway. Hotels, guesthouses, huts and campsites are scattered all over the Gesäuse. Everyone is sure to find a comfortable bed for the night. That's a promise!
