hut on the south flank of the Schoeckl mountain

The cozy and hospitable hut is located on the south side of the Schöckl at 1,160 m above sea level and offers regional home cooking from Thursday to Sunday. The Johann-Waller-Hütte has been a popular meeting place on the Schöckl since 1932, is easily accessible on foot or by mountain bike and was completely renovated in 2022 to be energy self-sufficient and to provide itself with water.

The hut, which is open all year round, also offers up to 14 overnight accommodations and is always open for groups and events.
