Generalihof

The Generalihof in Graz is one of the most significant Renaissance inner courtyards of the historic old town. The arcade architecture from the 16th century was created at the request of the Protestant Styrian estates and was implemented by the Italian master builder Domenico dell'Aglio. Round arches line the courtyard on the ground floor, while above, loggias frame the central courtyard.

In the Generalihof, there is the wine bar Klapotetz, which offers a selection of Styrian red and white wines. During the summer months, jazz concerts are occasionally held here, complementing the historical backdrop with cultural offerings.

The inner courtyard connects architecture, gastronomy, and events and provides visitors with the opportunity to explore the historic space, taste Styrian wines, and experience cultural offerings.
