From the Lipizzanerheimat up to the Gleinalm area: a scenic MTB tour to the summer pastures of the Lipizzaner horses.
The Brendlalm Tour links the Lipizzanerheimat with the high alpine Gleinalm area, leading through quiet forests and open alpine pastures. The route mainly follows well-maintained forest roads and is suitable for mountain bikers with good basic fitness as well as e-mountain bikers.
With around 1,000 metres of elevation gain, the tour is physically demanding but rewards riders with wide-ranging views and a peaceful alpine atmosphere. The destination area includes the summer pastures of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses.
Thanks to steady climbs and non-technical terrain, this tour is ideal for riders looking to enjoy elevation gain without challenging trail sections. A Bike & Hike combination is highly recommended to explore the alpine landscape on foot.
