Wine tour: From the castle to the wine
Wine walk on the Kehlberg in Graz with breathtaking views through the historic vineyards in Graz-Straßgang.
Not a rarity in the 19th century - the wine from Graz. The Kehlberg around Schloss St. Martin was a popular excursion destination with numerous wine taverns serving their own wine. When the last wine tavern closed its doors in 1967, winemaking in Graz became very quiet. In 2013, the southern Styrian winemaker Hannes Sabathi revived this old tradition, planted the historic vineyards, and has since been producing the Graz city wine FALTER EGO.
