Tour de Mur
Cycling tour in three stages from St. Michael im Lungau to Bad Radkersburg.
From June 4 to 6, 2026, Styria will once again serve as the backdrop for a very special cycling event: the Tour de Mur takes participants in three stages from the Salzburg Lungau through the Graz Region to the south, ending in Bad Radkersburg, covering approximately 333 kilometers along the Mur Cycle Path (R2).
The journey starts in St. Michael im Lungau. The first stage ends in Zeltweg, followed by the second section to Graz. On the third day, the participants will ride to the thermal region at the Slovenian border. The route leads through diverse landscapes: from alpine valleys to green meadows, as well as historical cities and charming villages.
The Tour de Mur is not a racing event, but a communal cycling experience for all age groups – without time pressure, but with plenty of regional flair. Participation is at one’s own risk, and the roads remain open to traffic.
Particularly appealing is the section through the Graz Region: urban flair in the state capital meets rural tranquility in the surrounding area, a play of contrasts that also delights on the bike.
