As Christmas approaches, the world of railways also takes on a festive glow. On December 19 2026, the Technical Railway Museum in Lieboch will be fully in the spirit of the Christmas season – and two special guests have announced their visit: the Christ Child and Santa Claus are coming to visit.
From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the TEML will combine the fascination for railways, technology, and history with familiar traditions of the Christmas season. Amidst railway history and winter ambiance, visitors can look forward to a special surprise. It will be particularly exciting for the little guests when the Christ Child and Santa Claus appear in the museum.
Just a few days before Christmas Eve, a festive occasion for a shared museum visit in Lieboch is created. Railway enthusiasts can enjoy themselves just as much as families looking to take a Christmas outing during the Advent season. The interplay of the technical museum and the Christmas visit gives this December afternoon its special character.
Admission is free, and a voluntary donation is requested. Lieboch can be reached by public transport.
