At the urban Christmas market with a view of the clock tower, atmospheric light projections, high-quality gourmet products, and live music create a pre-Christmas ambiance.
The Christmas market at Karmeliterplatz combines urban flair with contemplative Advent atmosphere. Starting on November 20, 2026, the square will transform into a festive backdrop four days a week – from Thursday to Sunday – with a view of the clock tower.
What's special? Here, atmospheric light projections meet fine gourmet products from Styria. In a harmonious atmosphere, guests enjoy regional delicacies, fragrant hot drinks, and music that invites them to linger. Especially in the evening, when the light installations reveal their full effect, the square shows itself in its most beautiful form.
