Advent concert by the glassworks and town band

The unique atmosphere of the Hundertwasser Church in Bärnbach sets the stage for the traditional Advent concert performed by the Glasfabriks- and Stadtkapelle Bärnbach on Sunday, December 13 2026. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the audience can expect a diverse musical program that prepares for the upcoming Christmas season.

The musicians present a journey through various facets of Advent and Christmas music. Reflective melodies, emotional ballads, modern pop classics, and Austrian music with heart combine to create a concert evening filled with festive sounds and lively arrangements.

Conductor Zan Vranetic is responsible for the compilation of the program and the musical preparation. Together with the Glasfabriks- and Stadtkapelle Bärnbach, he shapes an evening that brings together different musical styles and showcases the diversity of a wind music concert.

Special contributions come from singer Natalie Holzner, soloist Florian Fauland, and the flute girls of the Bärnbach music school. Gregor Waltl from ORF Steiermark will guide the concert, accompanying the individual program items with thoughts and stories.

The unique acoustics and extraordinary ambiance of the Hundertwasser Church give the Advent concert a special musical framework. The evening offers an opportunity to pause and immerse oneself in music in preparation for the Christmas celebration.
