At 1,551 meters directly at the Gaberl Pass, the Gaberlhaus welcomes you with a friendly atmosphere and Styrian delights. Here, nature lovers, active vacationers, and motorcyclists will find what they are looking for. The offer is rounded off by cozy rooms and down-to-earth cuisine. The Stubalpe lies right outside the door, inviting you to discover and experience.
In the historic part of the house, small, cozy rooms await with a real hut atmosphere. Alpine coziness and a sleeping place that allows you to relax after long tours in the Lipizzaner homeland.
Traditional dishes, hearty snacks, and homemade pastries characterize the culinary offerings. Served in the cozy dining room, the sunny beer garden, or in the historic parlor from 1908, which provides a special setting for celebrations, gatherings, and festive occasions.
In summer, hiking and biking tours start right at the house, not far from the summer pastures of the Lipizzaners on the Stubalm. In winter, a natural toboggan run, as well as the fairy tale meadow and a children’s lift, tempt you to enjoy active hours in the snow.
Excursion destinations such as the Lipizzaner Stud Piber and the Therme NOVA Köflach invite you to discover the diversity of the Graz Region.
