Florian Wörgötter
Florian Wörgötter’s career reads like a who’s who of Austria’s gourmet scene. Named one of Rolling Pin’s “Junge Wilde” in 2019, he began his culinary training at Herbert Schmidhofers Magnolia before gaining experience with the Austrian Armed Forces and at renowned restaurants including Neuwirt – Schwarzer Adler in Kitzbühel, Paznaunerstube in Ischgl, Restaurant Schlossberg in Graz, as well as the Michelin-starred Le Ciel and Silvio Nickol at Palais Coburg in Vienna.
A few years ago, he returned to his family’s Restaurant Wörgötter in Ligist, where he combines traditional Austrian inn cuisine with fine dining at the highest level. His work has since been recognised with both a Michelin star and a Bib Gourmand in the latest edition of the Michelin Guide.
