At the Hirzmann reservoir in Edelschrott, you experience nature up close!
For bathing enthusiasts, there is a public, free jetty and a well-maintained natural meadow available. A beautiful hiking trail with a walking time of about two and a half hours leads around the reservoir. Since the new construction of the publicly accessible jetty, which offers a wonderful view of the Teigitschtal, a complete circuit of the lake is possible.

The Hirzmann Reservoir is also popular for fishing; fishing licenses can be purchased at the Seeblick Buffet near the Ströhberne Bridge. There is also the option to rent boats and kayaks. As a special specialty of this establishment, in addition to light snacks and warm dishes, they serve self-smoked trout.
On the beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the water, one can take a perfect break and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. The Seeblick Buffet near the Ströhberne Bridge, managed by Monika Kiedl, is also an excellent venue for various celebrations.
And as the name of the establishment suggests, there is a lovely view of the historic Ströhberne Bridge, which is under monument protection due to its unique roof covering.
