Edelschrott with the districts of Edelschrott, Kreuzberg and Modriach offers leisure time activities for families and connoisseurs, both in the summer and winter. The Packer and Hirzmann artificial lakes are a swimming paradise for all those who prefer a quiet and idyllic nature. However, anglers, boaters and campers will also find special offers here.

The landscape around the town is ideal for hiking and enjoying nature. The James Way Western Styria and the Hemma Pilgrim Trail also stop here. A very picturesque place is the monument-protected Ströhberne bridge, which is located on the banks of the Hirzmann artificial lake. All hobby astronomers will be thrilled by the Edelschrott observatory, which is located in St. Hemma / district of Kreuzberg. The Nature House at Packer artificial lake also illustrates the natural history of the region.

In winter, two ski areas invite you to enjoy snow and skiing. In Modriach-Winkel, in addition to ski runs there is also a toboggan run, an ice rink as well as a children's park for learning how to ski. St. Hemma is an inexpensive family ski area with two clearly laid out slopes where a short ski trip is worthwhile.
