Unzmarkt - Frauenburg

The Frauenburg in Unzmarkt is enhanced by its varied history. The minnesinger Ulrich von Liechtenstein had the castle built in the 13th century.

Even if the motorway quickly takes you past, it is definitely worth taking a break in Unzmarkt-Frauenburg and spending some time here. There are various restaurants to choose from, both for regional and international food!

For a very special excursion, take the Murtalbahn. The narrow-gauge railway connects the Mur valley with Murau and Salzburg and is 76 km long. The railway line is not only popular with railway enthusiasts, several times a year it runs under steam which means "little" steaming in Unzmarkmen! Along the Mur, it is best to walk along the Mur cycle path to enjoy this fantastic landscape!

For relaxing hours, there is a leisure park with a playground and a family-friendly bathing pond.
