Information
The Eselhuam is a lovingly renovated, 200-year-old alpine farmhouse in an idyllic secluded location in the Murtal. Surrounded by meadows and forests, it offers you a special retreat where you can enjoy tranquility, nature, and the authentic cabin atmosphere. The original charm of the house has been preserved and gently combined with cozy comfort.
The Eselhuam has its name for a reason: The 14 donkeys live right next to the house and spend the summer on the expansive meadows around the accommodation. On request, affectionate donkey hikes for young and old are also possible. The cabin is designed as a cozy self-catering house, homemade delicacies and regional specialties can be enjoyed by prior arrangement.
Directly in front of the door, hiking trails, mountain biking, and cycling tours as well as varied trails begin. The Red Bull Ring can be reached in about 10 minutes and makes Eselhuam an ideal starting point for motorsport fans as well.
Whether active vacation, enjoyment of nature, or relaxed timeout – here you can leave everyday life behind and let time pass more slowly. Eselhuam is a place for everyone who appreciates peace, authenticity, animals, and true Styrian hospitality.
