A place for three. “Three cabins, one feeling.”
Hello — it’s us. The three cabins of Feriendorf Hohentauern.
We’re cozy wooden cabins located in Hohentauern, a small mountain village at almost 1,300 metres above sea level. We’ve been here for quite some time now. We may not be the newest or the biggest, but we’re full of warmth, character and stories collected over the years.
We’re not perfect — and honestly, we don’t want to be.
A little older, a little nostalgic, and lovingly cared for with great attention to the people who stay with us. We like listening to the stories our guests bring along. And in return, we try to give them peaceful days and cozy nights.
There are three of us here in the village: Ulla, Humis and Bergliebe.
Each cabin has its own personality, charm and atmosphere. No two are alike and that’s exactly how we like it.
Some are more spacious, others feel especially tucked away and intimate. Two of us enjoy sunny terraces outdoors, while one prefers quiet evenings by the fireplace and the warmth of a winter garden on cooler summer or snowy winter nights.
Together, we offer different kinds of mountain escapes for different kinds of guests.

You can park just a few meters from your doorstep. However, only one parking space is available. If you are traveling with multiple cars, please discuss this in advance with me as your host.

Although my homeowners have spent many wonderful hours here, they unfortunately do not have the time to visit me more often. They live far away from me, but they just didn't want to sell me and instead prefer to show others how lovely it is to live here. Thus, I was set up as a holiday home.
So I have found new hosts on site. The Slodnjak family is always helpful and gladly assists you with anything you might need. Or they support you with your daily planning. They run a business in Hohentauern, not even that far from me.
