The Seckau International Guitar Festival is an annual cultural highlight of the summer, where school pupils, students, interested amateur musicians, and lecturers from Austria and abroad spend a week making music together intensively. The renowned course week is led by Johann Palier and his son Florian. At the opening concert, young up-and-coming artists and professional guitarists provide an atmospheric concert experience of the highest standard. The Seckau Guitar Festival is a fixture in the cultural life of Styria with supra-regional significance.
