Discover the Zirbenland by bike and cycle along a fantastic cycle path from Fisching / Weißkirchen to Obdach. Find sparkling gemstones, fragrant Swiss stone pine souvenirs and tasty places to stop for refreshments on the tour.

The entire tour leads along a cycle path and low-traffic side roads from Weißkirchen to the Obdacher Sattel. Here you will find the connection between the Lavantradweg R10 and the Murradweg.

From Vienna: Take the A2 towards Graz. At Seebenstein, switch to the S6 towards Bruck an der Mur, then take the Knittelfeld exit. From there, follow the B317 towards Judenburg until you reach Fisching.
From Graz: Take the A9 towards St. Michael and switch to the S36 towards Klagenfurt. Exit at Zeltweg and follow the B317 directly to Fisching.
From Salzburg: Take the A10 towards Villach, exit at St. Michael im Lungau, then follow the B96 towards Murau. Continue on the B317 towards Judenburg until you reach Fisching.

Start from Fisching in the direction of Weißkirchen. Drive through the village of Weißkirchen. Then keep going in the direction of Eppenstein. Continue straight ahead along the path through Rötsch to Obdach. Here you always follow the cycle path separately from the road. Here you can stop for a bite to eat and explore the pretty town center or continue over the Obdacher Sattel to the Carinthian border.

Before your tour, you can immerse yourself in the sparkling world of gemstones in Weißkirchen. Edelsteine Krampl offers a glass production facility, a great exhibition about minerals and beautiful items in the store.

The Ba uerngenussladen Mandl in the center of Obdach is an information partner of the Murtal Tourism Association and is available for tourist information. Here you will also find great Swiss stone pine products and souvenirs as well as refreshments for your tour.

Take a train heading towards Judenburg or Knittelfeld. From these stations, there are local bus services and taxis available to take you directly to Weißkirchen. Further information please find here
