A varied, leisurely cycling loop starting right from Camping Wildbolz: Spanning about 29 kilometers, the tour connects several campgrounds in the Aichfeld region—from Wildbolz to the 50plus Campingpark Fisching, on to the Murinsel, and back again. Easy-to-ride sections, moderate elevation gain, and the ability to easily combine this route with the cycling knot system make this loop perfect for campground guests, leisure cyclists, and e-bike riders.
This leisurely cycling loop starts right at Camping Wildbolz and connects several campgrounds in the Murtal area over a distance of about 29 kilometers. The route first heads from the Fohnsdorf/Göttschach area toward the 50plus Campingpark Fisching, then continues on to the Murinsel, and finally returns to Camping Wildbolz.
With moderate elevation gain, the tour is pleasantly varied yet remains technically easy and well within reach. It’s ideal for anyone looking to embark on a longer but relaxed bike ride starting from the campground. What makes the tour particularly appealing is its connecting nature: it links several campsites, turning the loop into a beautiful “camp & bike” tour through the Aichfeld region.
Along the way, easily rideable sections, open landscapes, short climbs, and beautiful views of the Murtal region define the tour’s character. The loop remains enjoyable and uncomplicated—ideal for campground guests, e-bike riders, and anyone who wants to experience the region at a leisurely pace from the saddle.
Particularly convenient: The tour can be easily combined with the Murtal bike knot system. The signposted junctions make navigation easy and allow you to individually extend, shorten, or connect the loop with other routes in the Aichfeld, depending on your preferences, time, and fitness level.

The tour starts right at Camping Wildbolz in Göttschach near Fohnsdorf. From there, the route first leads out of the campsite and through the Aichfeld valley toward Fisching. The first few kilometers are a good warm-up before the route gradually leads to the 50plus Campingpark Fisching.
After the section around Fisching, the route continues through the open Murtal countryside toward Großlobming and Murinsel. The route alternates between pleasantly rolling sections, easily rideable paths, and short, moderate climbs. The route remains technically easy and offers beautiful views of the Aichfeld and the surrounding mountain ranges time and again.
Near Murinsel, the tour reaches another prominent camping site and landmark. Afterward, the loop heads back toward Fohnsdorf/Göttschach. The final kilometers bring the tour back to the starting point at Camping Wildbolz, where the campground loop comes to an end.
This tour can be easily combined with the Murtal cycling route network. The signposted junctions make it easy to find your way and allow you to flexibly extend or shorten the loop, or connect it to other routes in the Murtal.
