This road bike route starts right at the 50plus Campingpark Fisching and winds through the Aichfeld region for about 28 kilometers. With an elevation gain of about 210 meters, the tour is pleasantly challenging but remains well within reach, making it ideal for a compact ride starting directly from the campground.

The route is smooth and road-oriented: rolling sections, moderate climbs, and beautiful views of the Murtal countryside characterize the tour. Thanks to its manageable length, it’s suitable for both a leisurely morning ride and a more challenging afternoon ride during your camping vacation.

Starting right at the campground is especially convenient. Without a long drive, you can head out from the 50plus Campingpark Fisching into the cycling landscape of the Aichfeld and back to the starting point. The tour is well-suited for road cyclists with some basic fitness as well as for active casual cyclists looking for a short but varied road cycling loop.

By Car

From Vienna (approx. 2 hours):

Take the A2 towards Graz.
At St. Michael junction (161), switch to the S36 towards Judenburg/Knittelfeld.
Take the Zeltweg-Ost exit.
Follow the B78 towards Fohnsdorf/Fisching.
In Fisching, follow the signs to 50plus Campingpark Fisching.
The campsite is located on Mühlgasse and offers ample parking.

From Graz (approx. 1 hour):

Take the A9 towards Linz/Salzburg.
At St. Michael junction (161), change to the S36 towards Judenburg/Knittelfeld.
Take the Zeltweg-Ost exit.
Follow the B78 towards Fohnsdorf/Fisching.
In Fisching, follow the signs to 50plus Campingpark Fisching.
The campsite is located on Mühlgasse.

From Salzburg (approx. 2.5–3 hours):

Take the A10 towards Villach.
At exit 63-Altenmarkt, change to the B320 towards Radstadt/Schladming.
Continue via Schladming to Liezen.
Join the A9 towards Graz.
At St. Michael junction, switch to the S36 towards Judenburg/Knittelfeld.
Take the Zeltweg-Ost exit.
Follow the B78 towards Fohnsdorf/Fisching.
In Fisching, follow the signs to 50plus Campingpark Fisching.

The road bike route starts right at the 50plus Campingpark Fisching. From there, you’ll ride out of the campground area and into the open valley of the Aichfeld. The first few kilometers are perfect for warming up and provide a gentle, easy start to the tour.

As the route continues, it winds through the areas around Fisching, Weißkirchen, and the neighboring parts of the Aichfeld. Rolling stretches of road alternate with short, moderate climbs. The elevation gain is evenly distributed throughout the loop, making the tour challenging without being too demanding.

Along the way, beautiful views of the Murtal landscape, the surrounding towns, and the region’s gentle hills open up time and again. After the outer section of the loop, the route heads back toward Fisching. The final kilometers are a pleasant rollout before you reach the 50plus Camping Park again.
