Knittelfeld-Fisching-Redbull Ring-Knittelfeld

From Knittelfeld town center via Landschach on a cycle path to Großlobming-Möbersdorf and on to Fisching in the power station area, where a wonderful meadow landscape next to the river Mur with beautiful paths awaits you. Above the power station floodplain, a narrow gravel path leads to Aichdorf and across the Aichfeld to Rattenberg. There we have the option of taking the country road to Flatschach to get to the Redbull-Ring in Spielberg. For mountain bikers, however, we recommend the variant on the Hüttenweg (forest path) that ascends in Rattenberg into the Flatschacher Blümeltal and to the Redbull-Ring in Spielberg. Now it is only a few kilometers to Spielberg-Maßweg and to the right we reach the cycle path through a residential area "An der Ingering", which leads left along the main road back to Knittelfeld.

The right equipment - especially for such tours - can save lives! Therefore, always be safe on the road! Check your bike after every tour for air pressure, spoke tension and brake pads.

A helmet is part of every bike tour.

Warm clothing, rain and wind protection, a repair kit and first aid kit belong in your backpack, as well as a charged cell phone.

The Redbull-Ring, the most beautiful playground in Austria, is highly recommended for a visit and a stop-off.
