Escursione circolare panoramica dalla Waldheimhütte alla Stoanahütte con ritorno attraverso il Wildsee nella regione avventurosa della region murtal styria.

The panoramic circular hike leads from the Waldheimhütte via hiking trail 321 past the "Maria in der Zirbe" and the "Türkenkreuz" to hiking trail 44, which reaches the Stoanahütte. The way back is via hiking trail 312 along the ridge of the Seetaler Alps with descent via hiking trail 321 to the Wildsee in the region murtal at styria.

Coming from Obdach, follow the B78 road in the direction of Kärnten to the Obdacher Sattel. At the Obdacher Sattel, turn right towards St. Anna. Follow the road, drive through the village of St. Anna and follow the road to the Waldheimhütte.
Parking spaces are available at the Waldheimhütte - parking ticket machine € 3,00

In order for you to really enjoy a hike in the Mur Valley and relax while doing so, please keep the following points in mind:

Plan your stages according to your condition and ability. Take your time. Divide your strength very well, take enough breaks.
There are very long sections. Not everywhere there are possibilities to stop for refreshments. For a long-distance hiker it goes without saying that he should have enough drinks (and snacks) with him.
Adapt your behavior to the respective conditions, both meteorological and ground conditions.
Study the weather forecast daily.
Pay attention to yourself and other hikers.

Tips when reporting an emergency – Answer these six WH questions: What happened? How many people are injured? Where did the accident happen (are there GPS coordinates)? Who is reporting the incident (callback number)? When did the accident happen? What is the weather like at the site of the incident?

Proper backpack packing makes many things easier: Pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within reach in a side pocket. All the things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top. An emergency kit, including blister plasters, belongs in every rucksack and it is always advisable to dress in layers.

Allow enough time for a relaxing break at the beautiful Wildsee.

This tour is NOT considered "accessible by train and bus" as there is no regular connection.
