Easy running route around the municipality of Kobenz of the Murtal adventure region with a length of about 5 kilometers.

The route leads along the Kobenzerbach stream in the direction of Kobenzer Au in the Murtal adventure region. Past the Zechner recreational facility over the highway bridge, the route leads in the direction of Raßnitz. In this area you get an impression of the geological conditions in Kobenz, which can be traced back to the formation of terraces during the ice age. Following the course of the road, you turn right after the underpass. After crossing the state road we follow back to Kobenz.

The running route leads us along the Kobenzerbach on a pleasant meadow path to the junction Freizeitanlage Kobenz. Afterwards we go slightly uphill to the bridge over the highway of the Murtalschnellstraße and run comfortably on a lightly used asphalt road to Raßnitz, there we cross the L580 and run along the bike path back to the center of Kobenz.

We ask special care when crossing the L518 Jogging shoes, weather appropriate and breathable clothing, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water if necessary, cell phone, headlamp and reflectors if necessary.

A small drinking stop is offered at the Zechner leisure facility.

Arrival with ÖBB to Knittelfeld and the regional bus line 841, 842, 843 to Kobenz. Almost from Monday to Friday hourly travel possibility.
