Easy loop through the floodplain in the beautiful municipality of Kobenz in the Murtal adventure region.

The route leads along the Kobenzbach towards the Kobenzer Au in the Murtal adventure region. Past the recreational facility Zechner after which we turn left towards the swimming bridge. Then it goes through the village of St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld over the Gobernitzer bridge back towards Kobenz. Passing the animal shelter we go through Reifersdorf back to the state road 518, which we follow again to Kobenz.

Exit Knittelfeld Ost from the Murtalsschnellstraße S36 further to the center of Kobenz.

The running course leads us along the Kobenzerbach on a pleasant meadow path to the turnoff for the Kobenz leisure facility. Then we continue towards the highway bridge and turn left to the floating bridge. Then we turn right and walk on a pleasant meadow path with a view of St. Margarethen to Gobernitz in Knittelfeld. Now we get on the asphalted cycle path towards Knittelfeld and walk over the old Mur bridge and under the railroad line to the traffic circle in Knittelfeld. Past the warehouse we turn right to Reifersdorf and run on the other side of the Mur scenic back via Raßnitz to Kobenz.

Please take special care when crossing the L518 in Raßnitz. Jogging shoes, weatherproof and breathable clothing, sun and rain protection, if necessary provisions and drinking water, cell phone, if necessary headlamp and reflectors.

A great drinking stop is at the bridge bench by the floating bridge, just enjoy the sound of the water and the vibrations of the bridge.

Arrival with ÖBB to Knittelfeld and the regional bus line 841, 842, 843 to Kobenz. Almost from Monday to Friday hourly travel possibility.
