Beautiful short round trip that starts in Großlobming/Lobmingtal.
This lovely loop starts in Apfelberg at Cycle Junction 58, in front of the brickworks. Turn left towards the dog training area and continue along the River Mur. At the barrier, please be aware of any closures due to timber work. The route then follows a gentle forest road uphill to the Thalberghof inn. We then keep to the right and cycle past the Murtalbankerl, which offers a lovely view of the Mura Valley. The route continues gently uphill through the forest. Cycle signs indicate the turn-offs towards Nusspolter and towards the farm. Just before this, we turn left and cycle briefly uphill on rough gravel. At the animal grating, we turn right onto a lovely gravel path below the electricity pylon until we reach the right-hand turn-off into the woods. The route then descends gently and we cycle through a farmyard (watch out for children) at a leisurely pace along a tarmac road towards Einödhof. At the ruins, we keep to the right and cycle along the main road back to the starting point in Apfelberg.
