Tour - MTB - Hasensattel

The starting point is the Alpenhotel Lanz in Hohentaerun. From there, take the old federal road (turn half-right after Alpenhotel Lanz) to the marked turn-off "Hasensattel".

From here on well-marked forest roads to the Hasensattel and on to the entrance to the Triebental.

Here you can either turn right into the back Triebental to Bergerhube or take the main road or the same route back to Hohentauern or let the Tauerntaxi pick you up if you have already cycled enough

These tours are only allowed from 15 May - 15 September from 9:00 - 16:00!

Fair biking:

Some of the Hohentauern bike tours can be used equally by hikers and bikers. For the safety of all outdoor enthusiasts, we ask for mutual consideration and respectful interaction with each other and with nature! - Only use expressly marked and approved paths, routes and trails! - Do not leave any traces or waste in nature! - Always ride at a controlled, appropriate speed and at half speed! - Respect other nature users. Overtake at an appropriate speed - hikers always have priority! - Keep to barriers! - Do not drive off the trail and close pasture gates. - Pay attention to signs and obey prohibition signs! - Be considerate of the animals on the mountain pastures and in the forest. Give them a break too (from people) and strictly adhere to the opening hours!

 Mountain bike: roadworthy (e-)mountain bike with plenty of suspension travel, cycle helmet, if necessary enduro or full-face helmet, if necessary elbow and knee protectors, if necessary back and shin protector, day bike rucksack (approx. 20 litres) with rain cover, mountain bike shoes with ankle protection, weather-adapted and hard-wearing clothing in multiple layers (e.g. functional shirt, cycling jersey, bib shorts, arm warmers and leg warmers). (e.g. functional shirt, cycling jersey, bib shorts, arm warmers and leg warmers), shatterproof cycling glasses, long-finger gloves, air pump, cycling tools, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, water bottle and suitable holder, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, if necessary mobile phone holder for the handlebars, if necessary headlamp and reflectors, maps.

Alternatively, once you arrive at the Triebental entrance, you can also extend the Triebenstein loop past the Brodjäger inn.
