Zeltweg Parish Church

The City Parish Church of Zeltweg, also known as the Heart of Jesus Church, was built between 1904 and 1906 in the neo-Gothic style according to the plans of architect Hans Pascher. It is a significant historical building in the center of the city and shapes the cityscape with its 70-meter-high tower. The church is oriented to the southeast, with the main entrance facing the main square, and features a single-nave longitudinal section with a polygonal choir that displays typical Gothic elements such as pointed arch windows and flying buttresses. Inside, it impresses with balanced room proportions and a historic organ from the 19th century, which was installed by an organ building company from Graz. The City Parish Church is not only a religious center but also a cultural attraction for visitors in Zeltweg.
