Spielberg

The Lind-Maßweg parish church stands on the church square in the former Kirchweiler Lind in the municipality of Spielberg.

The Roman Catholic parish church dedicated to St. Martin of Tours belongs to the deanery of Knittelfeld in the diocese of Graz-Seckau. The church was donated in 1103 by Duke Heinrich III of Carinthia to the monastery of St. Lambrecht, which endowed a convent with seven friars in 1155. The church was incorporated into St. Lambrecht Abbey until 1958.

The Romanesque building was given a Gothic choir, the nave was vaulted in Baroque style. The church was restored inside in 1955 and 1971 and outside in 1977.
