Fairytale forest

As soon as you enter the family amusement park Märchenwald Steiermark, you immediately feel: An adventure full of magic begins here. Nestled among gentle hills, this lovingly designed park invites both young and old visitors to embark on an exciting journey of discovery.

Numerous attractions such as the large carpet slide, climbing towers, carousels, the Indian boat ride, the temple robber laser game, and many more highlights provide plenty of fun and variety. Starting in 2025, three new attractions will also be waiting for adventurous guests.

A walk through the fairy tale forest leads past around 130 fairy tale figures from well-known stories, who tell their adventures at the push of a button and light up children's eyes. For the little ones, there is a dedicated playground. After an action-packed day, the restaurant invites you to enjoy and relax with regional specialties and a large menu. Those who wish can end the day in the cozy inn or even stay overnight in the park.

Mauli, the mole and mascot of the fairy tale forest, is already looking forward to welcoming you to his adventure land – in a family-friendly, manageable, and loving atmosphere that delights both young and old.
