BERGaufRODELN at the Tonnerhütte

Extensive larch forests, mountain lakes, the characteristic shape, and the shelter located just below the summit make the Zirbitzkogel unique. It is no surprise that a very special winter fun has been created with the BERGaufRODELN. The sledding enjoyment begins not only while going downhill but already "uphill": With specially modified toboggans, you are comfortably pulled up the mountain on your sled by the ski lift. Going downhill is as you know it: On well-prepared sledding tracks – at Zirbitzkogel through the snowy larch forest. Whether on fast straights, through challenging curves, or on relaxing gliding tracks, there is something for everyone along our various sledding routes. Refreshing are the dates for nighttime sledding.

Winter fresh tip: For over 40 years, one has enjoyed grand panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and warm hospitality at the Tonnerhütte . Cooking is done fresh – with ingredients primarily from the region.
