Silent night, holy night! Christmas time in the Gesäuse is very special. The atmospheric Advent markets with brass band music, regional delicacies and warm mulled wine invite you to linger and heighten the anticipation of Christmas Eve.  Here you will find events for this contemplative time of year.

Christmas markets

Amidst snow-dusted peaks, the scent of mulled wine, freshly baked biscuits and genuine craftsmanship blend together to create an atmosphere that will put a smile on even the grumpiest of faces. Our Advent markets are little havens of warmth, brimming with regional delicacies, heart-warming encounters and plenty of Gesäuse magic. Do pop along, warm your hands – and your heart whilst you’re at it.
