Spatenhof riding stable

In the midst of the idyllic hilly landscape of Western Styria, the Spatenhof riding school has been showcasing what the old saying promises since 1989: The happiness of the earth lies on the back of horses. Whether during riding lessons, relaxed rides, or multi-hour trekking tours – here, the connection between horse and nature is the focus.

Modern facilities such as an indoor riding arena, dressage ring, show jumping area, and extensive forest and meadow paths provide ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced riders. The offering is complemented by stylish carriage rides in the elegant Victoria carriage. Whether as a romantic wedding vehicle, a charming accompaniment to wine tavern rides, or a festive setting for anniversaries – the rides through the gentle landscape around Ligist leave lasting impressions.

The Spatenhof riding school combines horse experiences with a picturesque landscape. A place for special getaways, family outings, and unforgettable moments.
