Plotscherbauer mountain hut

The Almhütte Plotscherbauer is located on Thomaskogel near Übelbach and is an ideal starting point for hikes to Fensteralm or Gmoa-Alm. In the midst of the so-called "Bermuda Triangle" of Übelbach, one finds a place where peace, nature, and good food come together.

Hikers and day-trippers like to stop by to recharge with a typical Styrian mountain snack. Regional products and simple, hearty dishes that perfectly fit the surroundings are served. For those who want to experience the alpine life more intensively, overnight stays can also be arranged in advance, allowing them to enjoy the sunrise over the hills – a slice of authentic alpine experience in the Graz region.
