Frohnleiten

One of the most famous Christmas illuminations in Styria can be seen in Frohnleiten during the time around Christmas.

Over 4500 lights decorate the promenade along the Mur facade, and numerous adorned Christmas trees shine at the main square. For some, the atmospheric lighting in winter has already become a landmark of Frohnleiten . The illuminated skyline is particularly well visible from the opposite side between the bridge over the Mur and the Volkshauspark.
