Hoiswirt alpine inn

The Alpengasthof Hoiswirt in the idyllic Modriach is situated at an elevation of about 1,130 meters above sea level and has been run by the family for four generations. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Western Styria, hearty regional specialties are served on the sunny terrace with panoramic views or in the cozy dining area. As a certified Styrian inn, Hoiswirt emphasizes its commitment to regional cuisine and the tradition of innkeeping. In winter, the area transforms into a small, family-friendly ski resort with its own lift, groomed slopes, sledding tracks through the snow-covered forest, and the Schneeschule Klinger. As soon as the snow melts, idyllic hiking trails open up for guided tours and individual discoveries.

Hoiswirt combines relaxation, movement, and culinary delights, making it the perfect destination for day trips, family vacations, or sociable weekends in the midst of untouched nature.
