Gressl Jewellers
Graz
Jeweler Gressl connects two locations: the historic main house in Köflach, a renowned address for watches and jewelry for over 60 years, and Barbara Gressl's goldsmith workshop in Graz's Stempfergasse. There, handcrafted unique pieces are created with a clear design language and selected gemstones.
Motto: jewelry that tells stories
Jeweler Gressl has two homes: the main house at Köflach's main square and Barbara Gressl's goldsmith studio in Graz's Stempfergasse. For more than 60 years, the family business has stood for watches, jewelry, and personal consultation.
Barbara Gressl is a goldsmith and gemologist. Her particular interest lies in extraordinary gemstones and pearls, the origin, purity, and quality of which she assesses with extensive expertise. For special materials, she sometimes travels to their origins.
In the Graz studio, jewelry pieces are handcrafted, often as one-of-a-kind creations. Twice a year, Gressl presents new collections. Their design is clear and minimalist, combined with gold, platinum, or silver, as well as selected gemstones, pearls, and unusual materials such as ceramics, carbon, or buffalo horn.
Before a piece of jewelry takes shape at the workbench, it usually begins as a drawing. Then it is rolled, bent, filed, soldered, and set. Inherited jewelry also receives new life here – for example, when cherished pieces are remade and transformed into a new form. In this way, Jeweler Gressl combines precise craftsmanship with personal history.
Especially:
We have a fondness for extraordinary materials and a good eye for jewelry pieces with a past. We redesign old pieces, restore them, and offer advice on gemstones with gemological expertise.
