Graz soap factory

The Seifenfabrik (soap factory) in Graz impresses with its distinctive red brick facade, listed halls, and a free-standing chimney that reflects the industrial history of the building. Originally used as a Poudrette factory since 1872 and later for soap production, the location combines historical substance with modern functionality.

The versatile spatial structure includes a timber-framed hall with exposed wooden supports, a spacious market hall, and a striking extraction hall with a heating house. These rooms provide an ideal setting for events of all kinds across more than 1,900 m². The offer is complemented by a modern foyer and light-flooded seminar rooms on the upper floor.

The location on the banks of the Mur river offers not only good access but also a green environment. The extensive garden and atmospheric outdoor area with access to the river create additional opportunities for outdoor events, such as summer parties or open-air events.

With state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible room sizes (from 270 m² to accommodate up to 1,200 people in the timber-framed hall), and the ÖKOPROFIT certification, the Seifenfabrik is an ideal location for a variety of events.
