Gasthaus „Zur Sonne"

At the foot of the Steinkogler foothills, directly on the former Roman road and the entrance to the Gösting castle ruins, lies the traditional inn "Zur Sonne". Styrian home cooking is offered, lovingly prepared with regional ingredients. The homemade pastries are also a fixed part of the menu.

Here, one can not only enjoy hearty food, but also celebrate in style. The large shady garden directly by the babbling Thalbach offers around 100 seats, providing the ideal setting for outdoor festivities. Protected by an old walnut tree, a natural, pleasantly quiet atmosphere is created here, perfect for celebrations with family, friends, or colleagues.

For weddings, an additional separate hall for up to 40 people is available. Whether à la carte, buffet, or custom-tailored menu, every celebration here becomes a special culinary experience. A house with history that makes Styrian cuisine and true hospitality palpable.
