Au­garten­bad

Just a few steps from the center of Graz, south of the Augarten, lies the Augartenbad. Old trees provide shade, and open meadows create space for sunbathing and playing. For decades, this traditional open-air swimming pool has been part of the Graz summer and a meeting place for young and old.

The facility offers a 50-meter sports pool, a large sunbathing lawn, and a children's and adventure area. Two beach volleyball courts complement the offerings. For the youngest visitors, there is a water play garden with fountains and play equipment. A gastronomy area provides snacks, ice cream, and drinks.

A diving tower and a spacious children's playground have recently been added. Additionally, areas for table tennis and bocce are available. This way, the Augartenbad offers numerous opportunities to spend a summer day actively or relaxed.

Throughout the summer, the pool will also be used as a venue for events. Thus, the Augartenbad remains a central place for sports, leisure, and relaxation right in the heart of Graz.
