Alpaka-Farm Elvira Birnstingl

In the picturesque setting of Maria Lankowitz the Elvira Birnstingl Alpaca Farm offers unique animal encounters. Annually in May, the alpacas are sheared, and the high-quality wool is used to produce various products on-site. The range includes knitting yarn, allergy-friendly blankets, and keratin soaps, with the alpaca wool products known for their quality and sustainability.

Visitors can enjoy guided walks with the alpacas, which take place along the scenic Pibersteiner Lake in Maria Lankowitz. These tours, lasting about 1 to 1.5 hours, are an excellent opportunity to experience the calming effect of the alpacas. Additional walks are available in Voitsberg, where, alongside alpacas, horses and royal poodles are also part of the experience.
