Schöckl Figure Eight Loop - MTB
Characteristics
SkillThe tour in numbers
MTB loop around the Schöckl, ridden as a figure eight between Schöcklkreuz and Johann Waller Hut.
This loop from Schöcklkreuz to Johann Waller Hut combines technically easy riding with solid elevation gain around the Schöckl. The route mainly follows forest roads and is part of the MTB Schöckl loop network. Long climbs alternate with wide views, offering a physically demanding but technically controlled ride.
Riders looking for more challenge on the descents can optionally include sections of the Schöckl Trail Area. The tour is suitable for mountain bikes as well as gravel bikes and standard e bikes. Around 850 metres of climbing require good endurance, with several huts and inns along the way providing opportunities to rest.
An alternative entry is possible via Leber or Stattegg.
