Discover the Kehrerwald on “Into the forest”: ten interactive stations combine nature experiences and forest knowledge on an easy circular trail for the whole family.
From Rein Abbey, the circular trail follows a historic defensive wall into the Kehrerwald forest. Along the route, ten stations explore the forest and its importance, from tree diversity and wildlife above and below ground to the forest’s role as a natural water reservoir.
The interactive stations make the trail engaging for children and adults alike, with scenic views along the way. The adventure trail can also be combined with other family and themed trails around Rein Abbey, including the Alpenbock Trail, Barefoot Trail, Culture and Nature Trail, Children’s Rights Trail and Cistercian Trail.
