Chapels Tour 735
Characteristics
SkillThe tour in numbers
The Chapels Tour starts at the weir and ends at the parish church in the centre of Eggersdorf near Graz. Along the 44-kilometre route, 11 chapels, 14 wayside shrines and 22 roadside crosses lead through a quiet cultural landscape, inviting cyclists to pause and rediscover testimonies of lived folk devotion. Many of these carefully restored small monuments now shine again in their original appearance.
Continuous signage provides information not only on the route itself but also on culinary offerings and local producers along the way. Well-maintained rest and picnic areas invite riders to take a break in nature. Several businesses in Eggersdorf also offer a picnic service, providing baskets filled with regional delicacies for the journey.
