The Castle Road (a themed road in Styria, Burgenland and Slovenia) presents the Castle Road Geotour on geocaching.com. The cross-border treasure hunt or scavenger hunt leads to 26 castles and palaces. There hidden treasures wait to be found, exciting adventures to be experienced and secrets in time-honored buildings to be lifted.

But what is geocaching?

Geocaching is a trendy sport and can best be described as a digital scavenger hunt. A so-called "cache" stands for a treasure, which is marked with geo-coordinates and can usually be found at them. The Castle Road Geotour (CRGT for short) consists of 6 main locations: Deutschlandsberg Castle, Kornberg Castle, Fürstenfeld Arrow Castle, Güssing Castle, Rakican Castle and Ptuj Castle and 20 secondary locations.
